The inclusion criteria included studies whose purpose was to identify the image or profession of nursing. The studies were conducted between 2010 and 2022.
Results:
The findings of 13 studies showed that the public image of the nursing profession differs across various media, societies, countries, and ethnicities. Additionally, the role of nurses' gender in this regard should not be overlooked.
 Conclusion:
According to the review, it can be concluded that various television programs can have a significant impact on the general public's view of the nursing profession and especially the gender accepted in nursing. Therefore, it can be announced to the policy makers of the nursing system and the media to increase their efforts to make the identity of nursing visible in the society.
